ESSENTIAL ELO - VERSION 2.1

While on my search for the new George Harrison deluxe box for Living In The Material World (a search that is still on-going by the way), I noticed this: a new set of 'The Essential Electric Light Orchestra' CDs have made their way to the shelves in the USA, now with back inlay and disc artwork more uniform to the rest of the Essential a series in the USA.  Too bad they didn't fix the huge flaw in opening track, too.

Indeed Steven.

Also, Xanadu 2000 which only has Jeff Lynne should've been rightfully replaced with the original 1980 single by Olivia Newton-John and Electric Light Orchestra!

Jerry, what huge flaw does 10538 Overture have, is it on both versions, where did you buy that?

This is the only version Sony apparently has of 10538's single. This is the same as the Light Years collection from 1997. It has a very noticeable bad edit. Anyway, just an observation...
