I don’t know why they chose Mercy Mercy as a single in the US. There are far better songs on this record (as per the previews) – Bewitched sounds incredible. It reminds me of the time they chose Alright in Zoom, instead of the great Moment in Paradise.
I would like to pay tribute to Jerry's tireless efforts in bringing the news to us as it happens - it really is appreciated - well done!! BTW I think the production on MM reminds me of Every Little Thing, albeit without the Jim Horn sax.
