Jeff Lynne reveals to Classic Rock Magazine in its May 2016 edition (with an online version of the article previewing the start of the Alone in The Universe Tour) :
Is the plan to make another album? Are ELO really reborn? 
Jeff Lynne’s ELO are, yeah. And I’m already writing songs for a new album.
